The trio of Nigerian Communications Commission’s Omoniyi Ibietan, Anne Ezeh of GE Power and Ukwori Ejibe of Tony Blair Institute for Global Change will on Thursday 16 July, 2020 serve as panelists that will engage with IABC West Africa on issues in communication in a pandemic’s trajectory.
In a statement issued and signed by Chido Nwakanma; President, IABC Nigeria, the three panelists, including two other experts will dwell on issues bordering how organisations irrespective of sector fared in the management of communication concerning the Coronavirus pandemic in a Webinar.
“What lessons can professionals and other stakeholders derive from the challenges that Covid19 has posed to private organisations, the National Centre for Disease Control and even various state governments?” the statement asked.
The statement added that the five communication experts will tackle the opportunities and challenges that the coronavirus pandemic has thrown up for the management of communication by companies and individuals across West Africa.
The webinar is organised by the West Africa Interest Group of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Africa.
The Panellists are Anne Ezeh, Communications Director for GE’s Gas Power business for Sub-Saharan Africa; Dr. Omoniyi Ibietan, a certified regulation specialist and professional multi-stakeholder communication and Principal Manager, Consumer Information and Education with the Nigerian Communications Commission; and Ukwori Ejibe, the Strategic Communications, Change Management & Partnerships Lead for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
The Webinar will be moderated by Chido Nwakanma; President, IABC Nigeria while Sola Abulu; Director for Membership and Members at large, Western Africa on the IABC Africa Regional Board will serve as host.
