The Nigerian Communications Communications Commission (NCC) is set to hold what it termed a ‘Fair Usage Policy’ talk with the telecom service providers in the country.
It was gathered the talk will serve as a follow up on its earlier agreement to retain the compensation policy, which allows consumers of telecom services to roll-over their unused data.
“The Commission and telecom service providers will hold follow-up discussions on “Fair Usage Policy” on unlimited data bundles/data rollover, in order to provide a clearer explanation and better understanding of the processes and procedures of the policy for the benefit of the consumers,” NCC said in a statement issued by its Director of Public Affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde.
The talk, it is understood is part of the telecom regulator’s determination to work closely with the service providers and other stakeholders in the Nigerian telecom sector in order to improve on the quality of service, and by implication, the quality of consumer experience.
