    ‘MyLagosApp’ launches, promising to transform urban living in Lagos

    The “MyLagosApp,” a comprehensive digital hub designed to enhance the lives of Lagos residents and visitors, was launched today by MTN Nigeria in partnership with the Lagos State Government.

    Representing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat lauded the app as a pivotal tool for accessing real-time updates on events, entertainment, hospitality, transport, and government services. “This launch reinforces our commitment to leveraging technology for smarter city management and improved connectivity,” he stated, emphasizing the power of public-private partnerships in driving innovation.

    The app aims to streamline access to public services, enhance transparency, and foster stronger government-citizen engagement. “MyLagosApp serves as a vital link, simplifying interactions and providing real-time information,” Hamzat added

    Dr. Karl Toriola, CEO of MTN Nigeria, highlighted the company’s dedication to digital innovation for societal progress. “This app marks a significant milestone in our digitalization strategy, contributing to Lagos’s journey as a true smart city,” he said. “We are proud to partner with the Lagos State Government to simplify access to essential services and enhance urban living.

    Shoyinka Shodunke, Chief Information Officer at MTN Nigeria, emphasized the app’s robust security features. “Developed with global security standards and ISO 27001 certification, user data protection was paramount in the design and development of MyLagosApp,” he assured

    A lively fireside chat featuring key stakeholders from MTN Nigeria and the Lagos State Government explored the app’s potential to improve mobility, support local businesses, and strengthen government-citizen interactions.
