Moniepoint Microfinance Bank, a leading African digital financial services provider, will showcase its innovative solutions for advancing financial inclusion in Nigeria at the Payments Forum Nigeria (PAFON) 2.0. This participation follows recent commendation from the Federal Government for Moniepoint Inc.’s contributions to fintech, financial inclusion, and anti-fraud efforts.

Managing Director of Moniepoint MFB, Babatunde Olofin, a seasoned digital innovator with two decades of experience, will join other industry leaders at the forum. PAFON 2.0, themed “Bridging the Customer Experience Gap for Financial Inclusion Using AI,” is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki Road, Lagos.

Olofin, recognized for his insights into Nigeria’s digital banking transformation, will contribute to discussions alongside Ebehijie Momoh (AfriGoPay Financial Services Ltd.), Uche Uzoebo (SANEF Limited), Chika Nwosu (PalmPay Nigeria), Fasasi Atanda (AMMBAN) and Happiness Obioha (Tizel Cybersecurity).

Others are Olusoji Solomon Adeyemo (Microsoft UK), Ibirogba Oluwagunwa (AMMBAN, Lagos State), Olusegun Gabriel Afolabi (Face Technologies UK Ltd.) and Chukwuemeka Enoch Mbaebie (Lagos Blockchain Week)

Chidera Amuta (Vendorcredit) will host the event.

PAFON 2.0, convened by Chike Onwuegbuchi, will address the critical need for secure and seamless digital transactions through AI, aiming to bridge the customer experience gap in financial inclusion. The forum will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, fostering collaboration among bankers, fintech startups, mobile money operators, blockchain experts, and cybersecurity professionals. The goal is to drive policy development and mitigate fraud within the payment industry.
