Ausso Leadership Academy, Nigeria’s foremost business professionals and entrepreneurs mentoring institution  has concluded its first entrepreneurial masterclass, a 3-weeks long intensive hands-on training program.

The masterclass was structured into 3 modules with each designed to help the delegates imbibe proven principles of business growth and sustainability. These include mission leadership, business model generation and business sustainability and growth.

The founder and Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Mr Austin Okere, while speaking at the closing ceremony, restated that the motivation for the establishment of ALA is to offer the Business Executives and Entrepreneurs what he would have advised his younger self, and the second inspiration was to be the Mentor he wished he had.

“As the early evangelists of the great institution, I charge you to go all out and begin to act out the strategies in the playbook that you have developed here. I am certain that by this time next year we will be celebrating businesses that have grown geometrically as we join hands in creating an expanding oasis of outstanding businesses. Go all out and excel,” he said.

Also, the class President, Stephen Ojji thanked Mr. Okere for his vision in founding ALA. He also thanked all the champions for sparing time to share their experiences with the delegates. He noted that their expectations have been exceeded and promised that the delegates will go back and implement the lessons learnt.

The masterclass had about 30 delegates from about 20 different organizations, four of whom had completed an MBA from prestigious institutions locally and overseas. They were unanimous in affirming that the value they gained from the program cannot be quantified in monetary terms. The delegates were addressed by 11 outstanding Champions of Business and Entrepreneurship and two resident faculty members.

The champions include Austin Avuru (MD/CEO – Seplat), Charles Anudu (MD/CEO – Swift Networks), Tosin Runsewe (Chief Client Officer, AxaMansard), Prof. Fabian Ajogwu SAN (Principal Partner, Kenna Partners), Toyin Sanni (Group CEO, United Capital), Ndidi Nwuneli (Social Entrpreneur), Segun Ogunsanya (MD/CEO. Airtel Bharti, Nigeria), Yomi Olugbenro (Partner, Tax & Regulatory, Deloitte Nigeria), Deji Ishmael (CEO, Afrissance), John Momoh, OON (Chairman & CEO, Channels TV), Adedoyin Odunfa (MD/CEO, Digital Jewels) and Olubayo Adekanmbi (Chief Transformation Officer, MTN).

The resident faculty members are Austin Okere (Founder and Entrepreneur-in-residence, Ausso Leadership Academy) and Chris Stephenson (Senior Performance Consultant GP Strategies Ltd, U.K.)

The next masterclass is billed to commence on June 4, 2018.

ALA’s vision is to optimize the jobs created by entrepreneurs to enable shared prosperity, though impacting at least 200 Entrepreneurs each year. It is expected that the entrepreneurs will achieve a double-digit growth within a year after impact and would have imbibed a code of Governance and a culture of Succession and Legacy.
