The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) has taken a significant step towards realizing its ambitious 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program by unveiling a distinguished advisory committee.

    A Stellar Lineup

Chaired by Emeka Afigbo, a seasoned tech leader with experience at Meta and Google, the committee comprises a powerhouse of industry experts:

    • Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, Founder of Future Africa
    • Oji Udezue, Ex-CPO of Typeform, Calendly, and Twitter
    • Joy Omoregie-GTM Acceleration Lead – EMEA, AWS
    • Bola Lawal, CEO of PremiaBN
    • Amal Hassan, CEO of Outsource Global

    Empowering Nigeria’s Digital Future

The 3MTT program, a cornerstone of the Nigerian government’s Renewed Hope agenda, aims to cultivate a skilled workforce to drive the nation’s digital economy. By providing world-class training and mentorship, the program seeks to position Nigeria as a global tech hub.

    A Phased Approach

To achieve this ambitious goal, the 3MTT program is divided into three phases:

    1. Phase 1: Training 30,000 individuals
    2. Phase 2: Training an additional 300,000 individuals
    3. Phase 3: Training the remaining 2.7 million individuals

The inaugural phase, executed in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has already empowered thousands of Nigerians with skills in digital marketing, project management, cloud computing, data analysis, and more.

With the support of this esteemed advisory committee, the 3MTT program is poised to revolutionize Nigeria’s tech landscape and create a brighter future for millions of Nigerians.
