    ALX Startup Accelerator showcases groundbreaking innovations

    Africa’s leading startup and career accelerator, ALX, recently hosted a transformative online pitch session, featuring 10 promising startups from its ecosystem. The event highlighted the accelerator’s commitment to fostering innovation and addressing global challenges through entrepreneurship.

    The participating startups presented their innovative business solutions and models to a panel of expert judges. Grow Kinesis, a groundbreaking health and fitness digital solution, emerged as the first-place winner. Helgg, a micro-mobility company offering e-vehicles, secured second place, while Uri Creative, a creative marketplace and digital analytical tool, claimed the third position.

    Joshua Ebinabo, Entrepreneurship Development Manager for ALX Nigeria, expressed his enthusiasm for the event and the progress of the participating startups. “ALX is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs with the resources and mentorship they need to turn their ideas into impactful solutions. This pitch session showcases the incredible potential within our ecosystem,” he stated.

    The panel of expert judges provided valuable feedback, commending the startups’ ingenuity, creativity, and determination. This constructive criticism will help the startups refine their strategies and amplify their impact.

    The other participating startups included:

    • Afren: A digital platform connecting clients with freelancers.
    • Browpay: An innovative hybrid payment and supply solution.
    • Delivit: A last-mile delivery solution.
    • Chao: A fast and reliable food and essentials delivery service.
    • Haidy Food: A wholesale e-commerce platform.
    • Medrack Health: A health-tech and pharmaceutical solutions provider.
    • Viscio Express: An Agro-Logistics provider and transport solution.

    By providing opportunities for startups to thrive, ALX is positioning Africa as a hub of transformative innovation and driving sustainable solutions to global challenges.
