Three brilliant young minds have emerged victorious in the sixth edition of InterswitchSPAK, Nigeria’s premier science competition. The competition, which aims to inspire and empower the next generation of STEM leaders, concluded with a thrilling finale, showcasing the exceptional talent and ingenuity of Nigerian students.

Ndudu Ekong Henry from Pegasus School, Akwa Ibom State, claimed the top prize – a ₦15 million scholarship spread over five years, a brand-new laptop, and monthly stipends to support his academic journey. Eric Denyefa Omare from St. Gregory’s College, Lagos State, secured second place, winning a ₦10 million scholarship over three years and a laptop. David Umeojiaka from Graceland International School, Rivers State, rounded out the top three, receiving a ₦5 million scholarship for one year and a laptop.

The competition saw fierce competition among students from across the country, who demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of scientific concepts. InterswitchSPAK not only rewards academic excellence but also fosters a love for STEM education among Nigerian youth.

Beyond the top three winners, the competition recognized the achievements of other participants. Students who placed fourth to ninth received cash prizes, while the top 18 semi-finalists and 27 teachers were awarded for their dedication and hard work. Additionally, the top 200 preliminary qualifiers received free JAMB e-PINs, further demonstrating Interswitch’s commitment to supporting education.

InterswitchSPAK serves as a vital platform for nurturing young talent and fostering a culture of innovation in Nigeria. As the country continues to embrace technological advancements, these young minds will play a crucial role in shaping the nation’s future
