Global industrial software leader AVEVA is setting a new standard for the industrial digital twin by converging all critical engineering and operations data onto its CONNECT industrial intelligence platform. These significant portfolio enhancements, unveiled at Schneider Electric’s Innovation Summit, aim to create a fully integrated, scalable edge-to-cloud digital twin solution.

AVEVA introduced major updates to its industrial digital twin offering. Enhancements to AVEVA Asset Information Management and the AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure enable the visualization of trusted engineering documentation alongside real-time operational data in a single, flexible user interface on the CONNECT platform. By unifying data in the cloud, AVEVA allows organizations to scale their digital twin solutions more flexibly, reduce IT overhead, and streamline data transfer, which improves data availability and lowers infrastructure costs.

This convergence on the Microsoft Azure-built CONNECT platform enables more precise, scalable analytics and AI-powered dashboards, helping customers unlock greater value from their data.

Rob McGreevy, Chief Product Officer at AVEVA, commented that the technology unifies trusted asset information with real-time operational data within the CONNECT platform to unlock more value through AI-powered dashboards and analytics. These new capabilities are designed to help industrial customers improve performance by eliminating data silos and enabling seamless collaboration across engineering, operations, and IT.

Furthermore, they accelerate decision-making by delivering real-time insight and actionable industrial intelligence. The updates also boost reliability by helping create high-fidelity use cases that improve asset reliability and support enterprise-wide transformation, and drive sustainability by enhancing carbon efficiency across the asset lifecycle.

The announcements reinforce AVEVA’s position in driving digital transformation and sustainability in the industrial sector.
