MTN Nigeria has launched FlyX, a high-speed broadband solution designed to deliver unlimited data, reliability, and seamless internet access to homes and small-to-medium enterprises across the country.
The FlyX solution utilizes high-performance Outdoor Units (ODUs) paired with indoor routers, leveraging MTN’s 4G and 5G network coverage. By capturing signals outdoors, the ODUs overcome weak indoor reception and provide a fast, stable connection in locations where fibre infrastructure is not yet installed.

Designed with plug-and-play functionality, FlyX requires minimal setup, allowing users to quickly connect for high-bandwidth activities like 4K streaming, online gaming, remote work, and business operations. The solution expands internet access across urban, peri-urban, and underserved areas where traditional cabling has faced deployment delays.
“This approach allows us to bridge critical connectivity gaps while still delivering the speed and stability required for today’s digital lifestyles,” Idehen added. “It is about ensuring more people can participate fully in the digital economy, regardless of their location.”
The launch of the FlyX portfolio aligns with MTN’s broader strategy to expand broadband penetration, improve network resilience, and accelerate digital inclusion across Nigeria.
