The Africa Sustainability Forum (ASF) 2026 is set to hold on October 20, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, focusing on green growth and shared prosperity across the continent, organizers TheNumbersNG.com have announced.
Convened under the theme “Sustainable Futures: Driving Just Transitions, Green Growth and Shared Prosperity,” the forum will gather policymakers, business leaders, regulators, investors, development partners, and sustainability professionals to examine actionable solutions for advancing sustainable development.
According to a statement signed by Elvis Eromosele, Lead Coordinator of the Africa Sustainability Forum, the event will address critical issues shaping Africa’s economic and environmental landscape. Key focal areas include sustainable manufacturing, climate action, responsible consumption, the circular economy, green finance, digital sustainability, inclusive value chains, women’s participation, and youth empowerment.

He emphasized that ASF 2026 is designed to be an action-oriented platform rather than a conventional conference.
“Africa needs to translate sustainability ambitions into measurable impact, which requires businesses, governments, investors, and development partners to collaborate effectively,” he added. “We want to create a space where decision-makers can identify practical solutions, forge strategic partnerships, and move from dialogue to implementation.”
Eromosele noted that achieving a successful sustainability transition in Africa demands greater private-sector participation, particularly in responsible production, renewable energy, waste reduction, circularity, local sourcing, and community development.
The single-day event will feature executive leadership sessions, keynote addresses, panel discussions, exhibitions, and high-level networking. Participating organizations will have dedicated opportunities to demonstrate ongoing sustainability projects directly to investors, corporate executives, and policymakers.
