MyCredit Investments Limited, parent company of FairMoney Microfinance Bank, has fully redeemed its ₦5.86 billion Series 6 Commercial Paper, delivering the repayment to investors under its ₦10 billion Commercial Paper Issuance Programme.

The ₦5.86 billion repayment marks the successful completion of the Series 6 issuance and reinforces MyCredit Investments’ record of meeting its obligations in Nigeria’s debt capital market.

The company said the redemption demonstrates its commitment to responsible financial management, investor confidence and sustainable growth, as it continues to expand financial services to individuals and businesses across Nigeria.

Commenting on the development, Henry Obiekea, Managing Director of FairMoney Nigeria, said meeting investor obligations was fundamental to building long-term trust.

“The full redemption of our Series 6 Commercial Paper reflects this commitment and our focus on responsible financial management.”

Obiekea also thanked investors for their continued confidence in FairMoney and acknowledged FMDQ for providing a platform that enables companies to access Nigeria’s debt capital markets.

The successful redemption strengthens MyCredit Investments’ presence in the Nigerian debt market and underscores the growing role of alternative funding instruments in supporting financial-sector expansion.

As FairMoney scales its operations, management said it remains focused on disciplined financial stewardship and expanding access to financial services across Nigeria.
