As part of the effort to rejig its operations to effectively push its advocacy across Africa, the African ICT Foundation, an Africa based leading Information and Communications Technology Foundation has launched a multi-lingual website.
The website, according to the Foundation will help to remove barrier and seamlessly formulate, evaluate, and promote policy solutions that accelerate innovations and boost productivity that will spur growth, opportunity and progress across Africa.
“The essence of launching the multi-lingual website is to avoid barriers in terms of language in our effort to push our advocacy across Africa. With the multi-lingual website, non-English speaking Africans can get our messages in any other languages such as French, Zulu or Swahili,” stated Mr. Emmanuel Bassey, Executive Secretary of the Foundation in Lagos.
Bassey added that, even in Nigeria, it can be translated to the three major languages such as Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa.
A check on the website, https://africanictfoundation.org/, shows that over 18 languages are available for visitors to get information about the activities of the Foundation. The languages are Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Dutch and English.
Others are French, Hausa, Igbo, Irish, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Yoruba and Zulu.
The African ICT Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit, and non-partisan empowerment and educational organization. The aim of the Foundation is to positively impact on the African economy, tackle attended challenges and avoid potential pitfalls.
