Five winners of the United Nations World Summit Awards will on the 24th of October 2019 showcase their innovations at the Mobile and Disruptive Technology Forum (MoDiTECH) tagged “The Power of Digital Services“.

The five awardees, under the anchor of the WSA Eminent National Expert for Nigeria and President, Innovationbed Africa,  Mr. Amos Emmanuel present the home grown innovations, which have steadily address challenges in the health, Ecommerce and environment sector of  Nigeria.

“When we say Africa is blessed, it is not only in its mineral resources endowment but of youthful human resource capacity doing fantastic innovative jobs in nation building,” he said.

Amos added that Nigeria has been the core pilot nation for the Innovationbed initiative as one of its flagship programmes: The Periscope session will field the above ambassadors so the audience can have a first-hand experience of practical solutions offering fixes to some sector challenges that conferences are always fond of speaking about rather that showing answers in practical terms”, he added.

Innovationbed Periscope at MoDiTECH’19 will deal specifically on homegrown apps in the Health and Life Style sector, Environment and Green Energy Sector, E-Commerce & Business Sector and E-Learning & Education Sector.

Mobile and Disruptive Technology Forum (ModiTECH’19), an initiative of TechEconomy.ng in collaboration with CommunicationsWeek, in this maiden edition, aims at pushing for “The Power of Digital Services” by disrupting existing technologies for the advancement of the economy at large.

It promises to make a difference as a groundbreaking solution shall be unveiled along many dimensions of the Forum.
