The 2020 edition of the Titans of Tech Conference & Expo scheduled in Lagos later this year would centre on harnessing the potentials of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data, broadband service provisioning and the urgent need to drive an all-inclusive digital economy.

A statement by the Managing Consultant of TechTV, organiser of the premium Titans of Tech Conference, expo and Awards, Dr. Don Pedro Aganbi, said the theme “Harnessing the Potentials of AI, loT and Big Data in a Digital Economy”, was chosen to highlight the crucial role of AI, loT and big data in today’s digital economy.

According to him, “In a world that is increasingly characterized by enhanced connectivity and where artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (loT) and big data is as pervasive as it is valuable, Nigeria has a unique opportunity to leverage new digital technologies to drive large-scale transformation”, he noted.

Speaking further, Dr. Aganbi said that The Titans of Tech event would feature a definitive documentary on the impact of IT and Telecoms on the Nation’s economy over the last decade, the Nigeria ICT Youth Summit & Digital Ideas contest, Tech CEO Roundtable and the premiere of the first-ever documentary movie on cybercrime.

He explained that the 3-day activities will be rounded off with the induction of tech pioneers, digital innovators, men and women who are at the forefront of technology adoption and usage in Nigeria into the Titans of Technology Hall of Fame Awards.

Now in its 15th edition, the event will provide a platform for the government to present its plans and policies, stressing that the private sector will also provide insights into opportunities, available solutions and options in deploying infrastructure to support the emerging digital economy.

The organisers equally stated that the conference offers a great opportunity for networking and forging strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the sector.

“We hereby call on Broadband services providers, Data Centre providers, ICT infrastructure providers, IT Solutions providers, Software Solutions providers, Financial Institutions, insurance, telecommunications services providers, CBN, government agencies and alternative solutions in Nigeria to embrace the Titans of Tech 2020 conference and expo www.ttansoftech.com.ng” he urged.
