    Amina Mohammed to keynote Mobile World Congress 2019

    Nigeria’s Amina Mohammed, who is presently the Deputy Secretary General, United Nations will join John Hanke, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Niantic Inc and others as keynote speakers at this year’s Mobile World Congress, which is being organized by the GSMA.

    The GSMA made the announcement in an email message

    “We are officially less than one month away from #MWC19! As we draw closer, we continue to announce outstanding additions to our programmes, including conference keynote speakers Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary General, United Nations and John Hanke, Founder & CEO, Niantic Inc,” the message reads.

    Amina Mohammed was a former Minister of Environment under the Mohammedu Buhari present government. She resigned her Ministerial appointment last year to join the United Nations.

    The 2019 Mobile World Congress have over 500 speakers with over 200 hours of content.

    With the anticipated arrival of 5G, this year’s event is set to be one of the most exciting as the industry convenes to showcase Intelligent Connectivity across new technologies on the brink of reaching millions of people across the world.

    Over the four days of MWC19, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leaders who are driving innovation.
