What started as a simple UI style guide quickly became a fragmented ecosystem of mismatched components, conflicting visual elements, and inconsistent user flows. This is where design systems step in—not just as toolkits, but as essential infrastructure for scalable design. A design system is more than a Figma file or a repository of reusable buttons.
