A total of One Thousand, Two Hundred and Thirteen (1,213) organizations from 13 sectors that contribute to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has complied with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). The 2021 healthcare report by Kaspersky has attributed the reasons why 50 percent of healthcare providers in Nigeria use medical equipment with a legacy OS to high upgrade costs, compatibility issues, or a lack of internal knowledge on how to upgrade, among other reasons.
