The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has warned unsuspecting Nigerians, particularly millions of Nigerian telecom consumers that “Davido Airtime and Data Giveaway” scheme, which has gone viral is fake. In a statement issued and signed by its Head of Public Affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, the telecom regulator noted the scheme is initiated ostensibly syndicated to swindle unsuspecting members of the public, particularly millions of Nigerian telecom consumers, by capitalising on the generosity of David Adedeji Adeleke, widely known as Davido.
