The West African Telecoms Regulators Assembly (WATRA), of which the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is a member have resolved to develop technical and regulatory modalities aimed at combating electronic frauds and standardising regional roaming tariffs. WATRA made its position known at a two-day meeting it organized in Abu8ja in collaboration with the Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS).
