Telecommunications customers, who wish to replace, upgrade or even get a new SIM card can now do so following the lifting of ban on sale and activation of SIM cards by the government, which also affected SIM replacement. One of Nigeria’s fintech firms, 3Line Card Management Limited, has adduced reasons it decided to opt of payment transaction switching services. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has unveiled a new Focus Group that will support the emergence of ICT networks able to control their behaviour autonomously in the interests of efficiency. Participation is open to all interested parties.
