Data presented by Atlas VPN team, has shown that one in ten businesses globally sell customer data to third parties, which they use to improve and market their products. The data, which is based on the Kaspersky Global Corporate IT Security Risks Survey, noted that customer data is a valuable commodity to businesses, even as some companies profit from selling such data to other businesses. The United States Consulate General Lagos is organizing a 5-day Drone Bootcamp to nurture creativity and hone entrepreneurial skills among Nigeria-based early-stage youth technology entrepreneurs. An analysis by Atlas VPN has shown that the average ramsom payouts increased by 178percent in the third quarter of 2020 compared to fourth quarter of 2019, even as ramsomware attacks reached a record high in 2020.
