  A 2017 Cyber Security Report has disclosed that Insider threat emanating from the staff and management of organisations topped the cost of cyber crime activities in Nigeria with $194 million, representing 30 percent out of the $649 million the report claimed was lost to cyber crime in 2017.   The GSMA has called on governments to support mobile industry spectrum needs, positing that the successful rollout of 5G network depends largely on the right available spectrum. International Telecommunication Union (ITU) member states have this morning in Dubai, United Arab Emirates re-elected Houlin Zhao of China as ITU Secretary-General. The election took place during the Union’s 20th Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-18).  Zhao, who contested the election unopposed won the position with 176 votes, from 178 ballot papers d​​eposited.
