Digital Encode Limited, a leading African cybersecurity and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) company, announces its sponsorship of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum (AfriTECH 4.0). This premier technology event, held in Lagos, Nigeria, brings together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts.

Digital Encode’s sponsorship reflects their dedication to promoting digital innovation and transformation across Africa. They recently unveiled a state-of-the-art facility in Lagos to strengthen their global presence and enhance cybersecurity capabilities. This expansion aligns with their mission to safeguard organizations worldwide against cyber threats.

Alongside the new office, Digital Encode launched the Centre for Information Security Intelligence (CISI). This specialized center focuses on:

    • Heightening cyber situational awareness
    • Delivering tailored threat intelligence
    • Fostering collaboration with international cybersecurity organizations

Dr. Obadare Peter Adewale, Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Digital Encode, emphasized proactive threat mitigation to bolster client cyber resilience.

“CISI, our proprietary solution, helps us identify potential vulnerabilities and deploy targeted countermeasures before adversaries exploit them,” Dr. Adewale said. “This minimizes the impact and likelihood of cyber incidents, strengthening our clients’ overall cyber resilience.”

AfriTECH 4.0, scheduled for November 2024, explores “Leapfrogging Digital Transformation for Future of Africa’s Economy.” The event fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing through panel discussions, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. It will explore emerging technologies like AI, cybersecurity, blockchain, and fintech that shape Africa’s digital future.

Digital Encode will showcase its cutting-edge solutions in cybersecurity and digital risk management as a sponsor. They will also participate in discussions on data privacy, cybersecurity, and the importance of compliance.

“We’re thrilled to be part of AfriTECH 4.0, a hub for African innovation,” Dr. Adewale stated. “Digital transformation is crucial for our continent’s development. Collaboration and knowledge sharing at events like this accelerate Africa’s digital economy’s growth.”

AfriTECH 4.0 attracts a diverse audience, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, tech experts, and investors, all committed to Africa’s digital future.
