    Digital Realty’s Boss to keynote Top 50 MVP in Digital Economy event

    Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani, the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Realty Nigeria (formally Medallion Data Centres Limited) is set to keynote the “50 Most Valuable Personalities in Nigeria’s Digital Economy” event, scheduled to hold on Thursday, March 22 2024 at the Providence Hotel in Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

    At the high-profile gathering, which will be attended by industry luminaries, thought leaders and top executives from both public and private sectors, Engr. Nnamani will champion the Conversations: The Myths and Realities of Nigerian Digital Economy. 

    As a key issue shaping Nigeria’s digital landscape, the former President of the Association of Telecom Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) will explain the paths that can make a digital economy work, separate myths from realities and share light on what the future of Nigeria will be vis-à-vis digital economy.

    Meanwhile, a statement released by IT Edge News, organizer of the event, noted that Engr. Nnamani will be joined by other top industry enthusiasts, including Dr. Vincent Olatunji, National Commissioner/CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC); Leo Stan Ekeh, founder of Zinox Group; Dr. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, digital systems expert and APC gubernatorial flagbearer in Plateau State and Gbenga Adebayo, Chairman of the Association of Licensed Telecoms Companies of Nigeria (ALTON).

    According to the statement signed by Olusegun Oruame, Founder of IT Edge News, the MVPs event celebrates trailblazers, change makers, and steadfast leaders who have propelled the digital economy forward despite formidable obstacles.

    “The MVP in Digital Economy event recognizes the challenges and progress of Nigeria’s digital economy. Thus, it is spotlighting individuals who have made significant contributions across various sectors, including telecoms, e-commerce, fintech, hardware and software development, tech hubs, startups, emerging technologies, and government policies,” he said.

    He explained that nominees for the ’50 MVPs in Nigeria Digital Economy’ 2024 are selected based on their innovative contributions, leadership roles, influence, impactful initiatives, and visionary insights driving Nigeria’s digital transformation, adding that the MVPs event serves as a testament to Nigeria’s vibrant digital ecosystem and the remarkable strides made by individuals shaping its trajectory.

    Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani is a promoter of telecom infrastructure in several African countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana and Angola. He has over 50 national and international awards for his contribution to the growth of telecoms and ICT industry personally and the companies he is affiliated with.
