Interswitch e’Clat, a health-tech company, reaffirmed its commitment to revolutionizing healthcare delivery in Nigeria at the recent Global Tech Africa conference. The company highlighted its advanced smart health information platform as a crucial tool in addressing the country’s healthcare challenges.

Dr. Babajide Oyeduntan, Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Interswitch e’Clat, emphasized the company’s focus on improving healthcare data accessibility and integration. He revealed that Interswitch e’Clat has already made significant strides in streamlining data sharing across numerous health laboratories nationwide.

“Our vision is to create a healthcare ecosystem where providers have immediate access to patient information, leading to better quality care,” said Dr. Oyeduntan.

To accelerate this vision, Interswitch e’Clat has partnered with the Ogun and Lagos State governments to implement robust health information systems. These partnerships aim to digitize medical records, enable real-time data analysis, and improve overall healthcare efficiency.

“By working closely with state governments, we can create a scalable model for transforming healthcare across Nigeria,” Dr. Oyeduntan added.

Interswitch e’Clat’s smart health information platform tackles critical issues such as fragmented data, inefficient patient management, and a lack of coordinated care. Through its innovative solutions, the company is setting a new standard for health information technology in Nigeria.
