Treepz, a corporate mobility startup in Africa, has achieved a significant milestone by completing the continent’s first cross-border rental trip between Nigeria and Benin Republic. This historic journey, undertaken between August 7th and 11th, 2024, saw 96 passengers travel comfortably and safely between Lagos and Cotonou.

This groundbreaking achievement underscores Treepz’s commitment to providing innovative and reliable transportation solutions across Africa. The company has consistently pushed the boundaries of mobility, and this cross-border feat further solidifies its position as a pioneer in the industry.

Onyeka Akumah, Founder and CEO of Treepz, expressed his enthusiasm for the accomplishment, stating, “This is a proud moment for Treepz. We are demonstrating what’s possible in African transportation and setting a new standard for the industry.”

Johnny Enagwalor, COO and Co-founder of Treepz, added, “We are thrilled to have successfully executed this cross-border trip. It’s a testament to our team’s dedication and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.”

Beyond this remarkable achievement, Treepz continues to expand its services. The company recently partnered with KingMakers and Parallex Bank to provide transportation solutions for over 14,000 employees. This collaboration highlights Treepz’s growing influence and its ability to meet the evolving needs of corporate clients.

With a strong foundation built on serving over 5 million passengers across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and Uganda, Treepz is poised to redefine urban mobility in Africa. The company’s commitment to innovation, coupled with its focus on customer satisfaction, positions it as a key player in shaping the future of transportation on the continent.
