VDT Communications Limited, today said Nigerians are set to experience what can be truly referred to as broadband services, after the commercial launch of its advanced 4G LTE data service, scheduled for next month.

The Managing Director of VDT, Mr. Abiodun Omoniyi stated this at the media launch of the service, noting that the retail broadband service is being launched to satisfy Nigeria’s insatiable data need.

“Today, we are informing Nigerians that we are about to launch our retail data network4G LTE Advanced service into the market with the theme ”…Iive the life” which we are leveraging to drive home the unique lifestyle changing attributes and benefits of our service,” he said.

Omoniyi added that the opportunity to actualize this dream came with the successful acquisition of a broad channel 2.3GHz Spectrum from the Federal Government through Bitflux Communications Limited; a consortium which VDT is the principal partner.

Asked about the strategies to deploy in the already proliferated data market, an excited Omoniyi assured that, despite the existence of other players in the market, the decision to launch VDT 4G Lte service is owing to the gaps existing in the market due to poor quality networks, customer service and support service inherent in the market. “VDT 4G LTE Advanced has come to fill these yawning gaps with superior network quality, top-notch network performance and proactive customer support services,” he added.

Speaking further, Omoniyi noted that the ultimate goal of the launch is to offer members of the public an exceptional broadband experience every time they subscribe to their network. Thus, enhancing all aspects of their lives qualitatively and quantitatively; helping them to achieve more and truly live the life they are meant to.

A check on the product range indicates that they are offering home CPE and mobile mifi devices at highly attractive rates, which come with free 3068 of data. It also comes with the most attractive free night browsing [8pm to 7am] plan available in the industry. Other value added for the mobile mifi includes a free power bank [depending on the home CPE purchased], data rates as low as N3,500 and unlimited internet data plan at low prices.

VDT Communications presently has about 80 percent network coverage of Lagos State and hope to expand strategically to cover the entire Lagos State, and other leading cities in the key economic zones of Nigeria and the rest of the country in phases.
