    Aderounmu, President of NCS to speak on using ICT to shape Nigeria @ ICT4NDS2018

    The president of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Prof. Adesola Aderounmu has been scheduled to speak on Information and Communications Technology, being central ideas towards shaping and growing any nation, at this year’s ICT for National Development and its Sustainability (ICT4NDS2018).

    “I will be speaking at the 1st International Conference (ICT4NDS2018) with the theme: ICT for National Development and its Sustainability. I will be discussing central ideas on ICT and how to use them to shape the growth of our nation,” Aderounmu announced via his Facebook page.

    ICT4NDS2018 is the 1st International Conference , which is being organized by the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, to mark its 10th anniversary.

    Apart from ‘ICT for National Development and its Sustainability’, which is the theme, the conference, which will take place between 18-20th of April at the University auditorium will have other sub-themes such as Computing and Communications Technology,  Information Science and Knowledge Management and Broadcasting and Media Studies.

    Senator Prof. Iya Abubakar, former Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria will present the lead paper 1, while Chief James Emadoye, President of the Institute of Software Practitioner (ISPON) will present the lead paper 11.
