Infobip Nigeria, a global cloud communications company during the weekend revalidated its Nigeria’s presence by carting home two outstanding awards in the country’s Information and Communications Technology landscape.

The two awards are the most Outstanding Business Communication Solution Provider of the Year award at the 17th Titan of Tech Nigeria Awards and the ‘Communications Solutions Provider of the Year 2021’ at the 12th Annual Beacon of ICT Awards held in Lagos, South-West Nigeria.

Infobip Nigeria edged off Clickatell, Monty Mobile, and Kirusa to receive the Most Outstanding Communications Platform Solution Provider of the Year Award.

Speaking on the award, Infobip Nigeria country manager, Olatayo Ladipo-Ajai, noted that the awards are a revalidation of the value that Infobip is adding across West Africa, stressing that it is great to see that the industry is recognising the work the company is doing for its customers and partners.

“These awards are a very big achievement for Infobip Nigeria because we now have the market’s attention. We’ve been here for several years, and these awards are a revalidation of the value that Infobip is adding across West Africa. It is great to see that the industry is recognizing the work we are doing for our customers, together with our partners,” he said.

Mr. Olatayo however, stated that there is always room to do more, promising that as a company, Infobip will continue to focus strongly on Nigeria and ensure that it remained a dominant player in the market.

Speaking further, Mr. Olatayo disclosed that this is a very proud moment for Infobip because this is the first time that the company is receiving awards in the West African region. He said the awards show that the efforts it has put into structuring its business in Nigeria, as well as marketing and launching new products are finally paying off.

According to him, the awards further prove that Infobip has made a meaningful impact on various segments of the country and region’s economy. This, he explains, was specifically around its contribution to organizations’ rapidly changing communication needs and strategies, driven by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic last year.

While the Beacon of ICT Awards recognizes top performers in Nigeria’s ICT sector, the Titans of Tech Awards, which is popularly known as Nigeria’s Tech Industry Grammy Awards, celebrates the country’s most important ‘movers and shakers. Both awards give recognition to best practices and outstanding contributions to the ICT industry in Nigeria.
