ESET, a global leader in cybersecurity, has today launched its latest range of products for everyday consumers, designed to protect against the ever-expanding threats from the internet including data theft, malware and viruses.

With ransomware, malware attacks and cyber-threats becoming increasingly sophisticated and harmful, it is vital that consumers take appropriate steps to protect themselves with the highest levels of internet security.

Built using three decades of progress in IT security, the flagship products provide protection beyond the dimension of the operating system.

Its new layer of security is active before Windows starts running and seeks any threat planted in the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI), very often misused by cyber criminals to compromise its various components in order to gain access to a victim’s data.

The new line is ideal for connected households with a new feature that keeps all of the smart devices that connect to a home network safe at one place, fully embracing the Internet of Things trend. Lastly, the re-invented license manager keeps users minds worry free, as all the important data is available at one click at my.eset.com.

The advanced suite of products, which include ESET NOD32 Antivirus, ESET Internet Security and ESET Smart Security Premium, merges low impact on system resources and renowned high performance with the best mix of detection, speed and usability.

“The latest suite of consumer products put customers’ needs at its heart and includes a great many features designed for ease of use with superior performance,” said Matej Krištofík, Consumer Security Product Manager at ESET. “We have encapsulated all of our 30 years of experience to offer the highest levels of protection against the ever-expanding range of digital threats, to deliver the very latest security advancements to our customers.”

Built to run unnoticed in the background, ESET security solutions deliver ultra-fast scanning with an extremely low system footprint, which means customers never have to compromise fast performance for effective protection again.
