    2024 ICTEL Expo to focus on emerging technologies and renewable energy

    Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), organizer of the annual Information Communication Technology and Telecommunications Expo (ICTEL Expo) has said this year’s event will focus on emerging technologies, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and the future of Information Communications and Technology.

    This was disclosed by Prince Abimbola Olashore, Chairman of the Trade Promotion Board at LCCI during a press conference in Lagos yesterday. He said the theme of the year’s event is “New Tech, New Threats and New Opportunities.”

    According to him, the theme encapsulates the essence of ICTEL EXPO 2024, highlighting the transformative power of emerging technologies, mitigating the associated risks and exploring the endless possibilities they present.

    He noted that the conference will welcome the presence of esteemed personalities, government agencies, and professionals from the public and private sectors. “Their participation reflects the importance of ICTEL EXPO and the Lagos Renewable Energy Fair as pivotal events in our collective efforts to drive progress and innovation.”

    Highlights of the Press Conference:

    • Commemorating a decade of ICTEL: The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrates ten years of bringing stakeholders together to discuss technological advancements.
    • Joint Event with Lagos Renewable Energy Fair: The expo will feature a new section dedicated to showcasing advancements in solar energy and its connection to ICT.
    • Focus on Fintech and Telecoms: Industry experts will discuss regulations, infrastructure, and service improvement within these sectors.
    • Tech Hub at the 2024 Lagos International Trade Fair: Many ICTEL exhibitors will also participate in the upcoming trade fair.

    Calling on all exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees to participate in ICTEL Expo 2024, Prince Abimbola assured that the conference promises to be an experience filled with networking, learning, and exploring the future of technology.
