Global cloud communications leader Infobip has been crowned the top provider in the Artificially Inflated Traffic (AIT) Fraud Prevention market by renowned analyst firm Juniper Research. In their 2024 Competitor Leaderboard, Infobip secured the top spot among 18 vendors evaluated for their AIT Fraud Detection solutions.

“We are honored that Juniper Research has recognized Infobip as the global leader in AIT Fraud Prevention solutions. This achievement is a testament to our exceptional capabilities and the dedication of our customers who have collaborated with us to bring Signals – our risk detection solution – to fruition,” said Goran Juršić, VP of Business Intelligence at Infobip.

Signals has already proven its effectiveness in identifying and mitigating AIT fraud hotspots worldwide, saving our customers substantial financial resources. We remain committed to continuous innovation and investment in preventing AIT fraud and safeguarding our customers and the broader messaging ecosystem,” he added.

Juniper Research assessed vendors across 11 key criteria, including market reach, partnerships, product strength, and operational scale within the AIT prevention domain. Infobip consistently excelled in these areas and demonstrated exceptional performance in three additional categories.

Infobip’s leading position stems from its comprehensive approach to combating AIT fraud. This includes its flagship “Infobip Signals” solution, which proactively identifies AIT by meticulously analyzing phone number behavior, patterns, and types.

Infobip leverages cutting-edge AI and ML algorithms to effectively detect and block OTP traffic, ensuring robust automated protection for businesses.

Georgia Allen, Research Analyst at Juniper Research, emphasized, “Infobip offers a robust and comprehensive solution to combat AIT fraud, underpinned by a vast messaging client base that fuels ongoing advancements in AIT detection and prevention strategies. Infobip’s strategic expansion into North America and Western Europe is particularly significant, given the high prevalence of AIT fraud in these regions.”
