The city of Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub, is set to host the first-ever Scrum Day Nigeria event on March 5, 2025, at The Civic Center, Victoria Island. The conference, themed “Innovation and Products for Better Outcomes,” aims to address Nigeria’s most pressing business challenges through organizational transformation using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Sam Adesoga, Co-Convener of Scrum Day and Nigeria Professional Scrum Trainer, announced the event at a press conference, highlighting the need for Nigerian businesses to become more adaptive, resilient, and innovative in the face of economic instability, high inflation, currency fluctuations, and an unpredictable business climate. He noted that many organizations struggle with bureaucratic bottlenecks, poor collaboration, and slow decision-making, leading to missed market opportunities.

Scrum Day Nigeria – Lagos 2025 will feature 10 expert speakers in Agile, product management, business transformation, and leadership.

What to expect during Scrum Day Nigeria 2025:

    • Insights from top industry experts in product management, leadership, and organizational transformation.
    • Panel sessions addressing real-world business challenges and solutions.
    • Strategies for building environments where teams can create successful products despite economic and operational hurdles.
    • Networking opportunities with professionals and business leaders.
    • Exclusive prizes, certificates of attendance, and access to session recordings.

The conference organizers emphasize the success of global giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, which is rooted in Agile and Scrum. They are calling on Nigerian business leaders, entrepreneurs, and corporate professionals to attend Scrum Day Nigeria 2025 and gain actionable strategies for driving business success and building a more effective, innovative, and globally competitive Nigerian business landscape.
