In a proactive move to ensure seamless adoption of its eKit solution throughout Africa, TD Africa, the continent’s leading technology distributor, partnered with global tech giant Huawei to host an exclusive Installer Workshop on April 30th at the Huawei Experience Centre, Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

More than just an event, the workshop served as a strategic initiative to educate, empower, and onboard certified installers as TD Africa’s official field force for deploying Huawei’s eKit networking solutions to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) across the continent.

Recognizing that technology access alone is insufficient, TD Africa is bridging the gap between product and performance by equipping SMEs with access to skilled installers who understand the unique demands of the African business environment.

“This workshop empowers these installers with the essential product knowledge and technical expertise to deliver superior installation services to businesses region-wide,” stated Ayotunde Atiba, Group Head, Huawei SMB & Runrate, TD Africa. “For us, distribution transcends mere product delivery; it’s about cultivating an ecosystem that fosters growth, efficiency, and excellence.”

The Huawei eKit, encompassing enterprise-grade routers, switches, access points, and the innovative IdeaHub, is positioned as the definitive networking solution for African SMEs. However, its optimal utilization hinges on skilled and trusted professionals implementing it effectively in the field.

“This initiative marks significant progress for us,” added Ajuma Gabriels, Huawei eKit Sales Manager, Nigeria. “Without adequate training for installers, the quality of service delivered to end-users is jeopardized. This underscores the crucial nature of our partnership with TD Africa, our esteemed gold distributor.”

Through this collaboration, installers will not only receive professional training but also gain direct access to Huawei eKit products via registered TD Africa partners, along with exclusive benefits such as discounts, rebates, and continuous technical support.

This workshop represents another strategic advancement in TD Africa’s mission to democratize access to cutting-edge technology solutions. With a growing network of certified installers and an unwavering commitment to quality, TD Africa and Huawei are not merely distributing products; they are actively building a connected future for businesses across Africa, one expert installation at a time.
