    Linda Olumide Receives HR Innovation Award at Nigeria Technology Awards

    Linda Olumide was named Outstanding HR Innovation and Talent Strategy Professional of the Year at the 2023 Nigeria Technology Awards (NiTA). The ceremony was held on December 9, 2023, at Virginrose Resorts, Victoria Island, Lagos.

    Olumide is an experienced human resources leader within the telecommunications sector. Her professional focus includes workforce planning, organisational design, and linking HR operations to business outcomes. She has managed recruitment for technical roles, led digital HR transformation projects, and implemented workforce analytics frameworks that connect people metrics to commercial performance.

    Her work involves deploying HR technology systems for talent management, employee data analysis, and process automation to support operational efficiency and decision-making. She has also worked on integrating artificial intelligence into workforce management processes.

    Olumide’s HR leadership has covered the full value chain of telecoms, from network operations to retail and enterprise services. She has worked on projects involving employee engagement systems and talent development programmes. Her work integrates data analysis with HR decision-making in a sector characterised by rapid technological change and competitive labour markets.

    She has expertise in UK and Nigerian employment law and employee relations. Her work addresses workforce structure, skills development, and retention in an industry with high staff turnover. She has mentored professionals and contributed to developing talent management practices within the technology sector.

    Speaking at the event, Felix C. Nnuji, Event Director and Advisory Board Member of NiTA, stated that the awards celebrate those driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the tech space. The Nigeria Technology Awards is an annual programme that recognises professionals and organisations contributing to Nigeria’s technology ecosystem.

    The award recognises Olumide’s contribution to HR innovation and talent strategy within Nigeria’s technology and telecommunications industries.
