The organizers of this year’s Young Professional Career Conversations (YPCC) have unveiled plans for the event, which is expected to attract over 200 young professionals with 1 to 3 years of corporate experience and 8 industry leaders across different industries to connect, learn and collaborate.

In its second edition, the theme of this year’s edition is ‘STRETCH – Building capacity for impact’ and is scheduled for the 27th of April, 2019 at Zone Tech, Gbagada, Lagos.

According to Olokunde Olanrewaju, the YPCC Tribe Leader, the conversations, which will provide a platform for young professionals to learn and network, will cascade into practical insights that will position young professionals for relevance in their various industries as well as help them play a significant role in the global workforce.

“By attending this event, young professionals will grasp how other colleagues from different industry space are thriving and primarily listen to organizational leaders share personal stories and case studies of how their career has advanced over the years with proven principles and practices,” he noted.

He disclosed that the event will bring together mainstream speakers from diverse industries, some of which include; Dr. Andrew S. Nevin – Chief Economist, PwC West Africa, Olamide Eyinla, HRBP at Coca-cola Hellenic bottling company, Femi Adeniyi, MD/CEO Simplex Business Solutions. The panel focus for this year’s edition, according to Olanrewaju will be on Intentional career planning and Future of work as the mix of speakers will give perspective to these topics.
