The city of Gombe, Gombe State, North-East Nigeria has agreed to host this year’sh edition of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) international conference, which will take place from July 16 to 18, 2019.

The Chairman, Conference Committee at NCS, Mr. Jide Awe announced this in a Facebook post.

Recall the Governor of Gombe State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo was represented at the 27th National Conference of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) by the Honourable Commissioner of Science and Technology, Asma’u Iganus in Ibadan last.

There, she confirmed Gombe State’s readiness and acceptance to host the NCS 2019 Conference, on behalf of the Gombe State Governor.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has announced a call for papers for its 2019 International Conference, with the themed, “Smart Nations, Digital Economies and Meaningful Lives,” saying #SmartDigital2019 papers are being sought in various topic areas.

It said papers on innovative technologies, smart broadband, youth entrepreneurship, data innovation and other areas related to the subthemes will be of great interest to attendees.
