Birthed in 2008, Quickteller has grown to become one of the biggest household names in the Nigerian and indeed African electronic payment ecosystem.

In the last decade, the Interswitch’s online payments platform for consumers and businesses has transformed from just being a payment platform, where payments are made across various channels (ATMs, Web, POS) to what can be described as an enabler of comfort and convenience.

‘Everything is Possible’. Of the truth, everything is possible on the Quickteller platform; from providing seamless payment for goods and services, Airtime Recharge, Funds Transfer, Bill Payments and Western Union Transfer to saving and ultimately, acquisition of loans.

As a digital payment solutions provider, the Quickteller payment platform is so ubiquitous that making a payment is possible for everyone, irrespective of location or need. Quickteller enables everyone to make transactions on the go, with a just few clicks.

Today, a quick log on the Quickteller platform www.quickteller.com shows that the services available on the platform include: payment of toll fees, state government payments, purchase of airtime, flight tickets, funds transfer, payment of cable bills (TV), quick loans, aids and donations, event tickets, online shopping from over 100 global stores, JAMB ePins and many other services you can think of.

This speaks of the company’s commitment to enabling users to simplify their everyday lives by making payments easily on the go.

Speaking last week at the launch of a new Television Commercial tagged ‘Everything is Possible’, Olawale Akanbi, Group Head, Quickteller Marketing, noted that transacting on the Quickteller platform provides a vast number of services in the digital payment space.

“It’s amazing to know that you can pay for almost anything on Quickteller. At Quickteller, we are committed to making all payments possible on our platform.  This is why we are continuously expanding the services available on Quickteller. From just a platform where you could transfer money, customers can now perform more transactions that speak to their lifestyle, businesses, passion and even their careers,” he said.

He added that Quickteller provides secured solutions and services that facilitate convenience and real value for consumers, businesses, governments and other organizations, helping to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency and drive sustainable revenue growth.

With over 7000 billers, the Quickteller platform can make any type of payment and processes millions of transactions daily for billers and service providers across Africa.

    How the Quickteller works

Quickteller works like a payment shop or supermarket, where you can make online payments for various products and services. You may communicate that your services are available at quickteller.com and/or decide to place a link on your website that redirects to quickteller.com so your customers and clients can make payments using the platform. Quickteller is great for Internet savvy users who are already used to making payments online as it provides them the bouquet of services such as buying airline tickets, online recharge, payment for utility bills and a host of other services.

    Story behind Quickteller

Quickteller is one of the oldest payment gateways around. That is also its biggest selling point, which comes with a lot of trust from users. Based on this, Quickteller acts as a middle man to a lot of other payment gateways in Nigeria. The platform is enabled through multiple channels such as Bank Branch, ATM, Web, POS, Kiosk, Voice.

It started as a Business to Business (B2B) platform that renders services to billers and service providers registered on the platform. It found its way into ATMs and merchants’ POS terminals, facilitating business to Business to Consumer (B2B2C) services like funds transfer, airtime top-up and bills payment. Today, it has evolved into offering these services directly to consumers as a business to Consumer (B2C)platform.

    Highlights of some Quickteller offerings

Being the most popular online payment platform in Nigeria, Nigerians can take full advantage of these fast services that accept and allow sending money from one account to another, pay for services and goods as well as bills, and withdraw your money.

Here are some of the services on the Quickteller Platform

Loan: On the Quickteller platform, users are permitted to request a loan, repay the loan on the same platform with the history visible for the sake of accountability.

QuicktellerGlobalMall: The newly added option allows users to shop directly from stores in the United State of America and the United Kingdom through the Quickteller App or web and have items delivered to you. The good thing is that shoppers can pay in Naira. Some of the stores available on the platform are Boohoo.com, Next, Carter, Ralph Lauren, American Eagle, Nordstrom, Amazon, Macy’s and the Children’s Place.

Event Ticketing: Quickteller believes that booking for an event ticket is one thing users should worry less about. Several events, ranging from comedy shows, seminars, conferences, training, festival and trade fairs are currently listed on the Quickteller platform. A click on any of the events gives detailed information to the user and how to make payment when necessary.

Flight booking: The Quickteller platform allows users to search and book cheap flights. It gives options of putting departure city, arrival city, departure date, returns date, number of travelers, preferred class and airline.

Betting, Lottery, and gaming: All the betting platforms in Nigeria are embedded in the Quickteller platform. This, according to the company allows sport betting customers to easily fund their wallets, make payment and monitor their betting live.

Associations and Societies: There are over 40 groups listed on the Qucikteller platform including; churches, professional bodies, Estate/ Resident associations etc. Members of these groups can make their financial contributions and other forms of payment on the platform. If your group is not listed, just ask them to register on the Quickteller platform and that payment becomes possible on Quickteller!

While these are just a few of the services you can get on the Quickteller platform, there is a host of other services you will have to discover, just visit www.quickteller.com and indeed, payment is one less thing to worry about!
