African payment gateway and digital commerce leader Interswitch is set to lead discussions on the innovations needed to build Africa’s next digital economy at this year’s Moonshot Conference, hosted by TechCabal.

Interswitch will do so in the capacity of being the event’s Platinum Sponsor for the third consecutive year. The conference will take place from October 28–29, 2026, at the National Theatre in Lagos, under the theme: “Courage & Conviction – Building for a New World.”

As the Platinum Sponsor, Interswitch will anchor the Big Tech and Enterprise Stage, gathering influential tech leaders to examine enterprise technology, digital infrastructure, and the economic landscape across Africa.

Additionally, the company will participate in an exclusive, closed-door session with policymakers, industry leaders, and investors to address the regulatory frameworks, partnerships, and capital needed to foster a resilient digital ecosystem.

Speaking on the partnership, Cherry Eromosele, EVP of Group Marketing and Communications at Interswitch, highlighted the urgency of the moment:

“Africa stands at a defining moment. The next chapter of our digital transformation will require more than innovation; it will require the courage to rethink what is possible and the conviction to build for the world we know is coming. At Interswitch, we believe that building this future requires strong digital infrastructure, purposeful partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to solving real challenges at scale. Moonshot provides a vital platform to turn those convictions into meaningful action.”

Now in its fourth edition, Moonshot brings together founders, technology executives, policymakers, and investors to examine the trends shaping the continent’s tech ecosystem. This year’s theme challenges participants to move beyond reacting to market shifts and instead actively build scalable, future-proof solutions.

Interswitch’s return to the event underscores its commitment to expanding accessible, secure, and scalable digital commerce across Africa. By steering these conversations, Interswitch aims to help turn bold ideas into practical solutions that drive inclusive economic growth.
