    AfriTECH 4.0 gears up for digital transformation leap in Africa

    The Africa Tech Alliance Forum gears up for its fourth edition, AfriTECH 4.0, scheduled for Thursday, November 7th, 2024, in Lagos, Nigeria. This premier technology and innovation conference promises to be a landmark event, uniting key stakeholders under the theme “Leapfrogging Digital Transformation for the Future of Africa’s Economy.”

    NITDA, with its mandate to develop and regulate information technology in Nigeria, plays a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s digital landscape. Under the leadership of Director General Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the agency acts as the clearinghouse for IT projects and infrastructure development. They create regulatory standards, guidelines, and policies to promote responsible and inclusive IT practices. AfriTECH 4.0 provides NITDA with a platform to showcase its commitment to strategic stakeholder engagement and resource optimization for the benefit of Nigeria.

    PalmPay: Fintech for financial inclusion

    PalmPay, a rapidly growing digital banking and payment app, brings a commercial perspective to the table. This secure and user-friendly platform offers quick transfers, airtime top-up, and utility bill payments to its 35 million users. Managing Director Mr. Chika Nwosu will share insights on “Harnessing Fintech Solutions for Financial Inclusion & eCommerce Growth.”
