    Apply Now: MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) Cohort 4 – Shape the Future of Media

    MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, in partnership with the esteemed School of Media and Communication (SMC), Pan-Atlantic University (PAU), is excited to announce the call for applications for the fourth edition of the transformative MTN Media Innovation Programme (MTN MIP-4). This unique opportunity is open to dynamic media practitioners and content creators who are eager to elevate their skills and navigate the evolving media landscape. The programme will commence on May 19, 2025, at the PAU Main Campus in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

    Launched in 2022, the MTN MIP is a fully funded, six-month certificate fellowship designed to provide media professionals with in-depth knowledge and insights into the rapidly changing media ecosystem. This comprehensive programme includes an enriching study visit to the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, offering a global perspective on media innovation. Applications are welcomed from individuals across all sectors of the media industry, including print, electronic, and online platforms, as well as social media content creators.

    Tobe Okigbo, Chief Corporate Services & Sustainability Officer at MTN Nigeria, emphasized the programme’s impact: “Our vision for MIP was to empower media professionals with enhanced reporting capabilities and a deeper understanding of the technology sector, enabling them to become true media innovators. The remarkable impact we’ve witnessed over the past three years inspires us to continue this initiative. We encourage all eligible media professionals and content creators to seize this invaluable opportunity and apply for the fourth cohort.”

    Dr. Ikechukwu Obiaya, Dean of SMC, PAU, highlighted the programme’s evolution and relevance: “In today’s dynamic media landscape, cultivating a new generation of media professionals who can drive innovation and excellence is more crucial than ever. SMC is committed to leveraging our extensive experience to equip this cohort with the necessary skills, emphasizing creativity and ethical practices.”
