The management of Konga has raised the alarm over the activities of suspected fraudsters using its brand name to scam unsuspecting victims, even as it cautioned the public and its customers to remain alert to the antics of these unscrupulous con artists. The warning comes amid revelations that scammers have recently targeted some individuals. The Director-General of the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), Dr. DanAzumi Mohammed Ibrahim has disclosed that over 90percent of the technologies presently powering the Nigerian economy are imported. When people talk about financial inclusion, the focus is usually on the unbanked. Only 64.1% of Nigerian adults are financially included, according to EFInA, a non-profit working to deepen participation in Nigeria’s financial sector.
