Nigeria’s premier bank, FirstBank said it has recorded approximately 2.5 million withdrawals which amount to N35 billion across its ATMs over the last week. The Bank in a statement signed by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, yesterday also said in the last one week, its 53,000 agents across the country have processed over 5 million transactions with differing values. “We’ve recorded approximately 2.5 million withdrawals which amount to N35 billion across our ATMs over the last week.  Our larger corporate customers have done over 1,700 successful transactions worth N6.8 billion on our e-bills platform during this challenging period,”…

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has again refuted the insinuations that some telecom operators were seen laying fibre optic cable laying in Lagos, South-West Nigeria.
