The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has said it will soon carry out enforcement against non-type approved telecom devices in the country, noting that such devices are a setback to the growth of Nigeria’s telecom industry. Federal government-owned Galaxy Backbone has lamented the level of destruction on fibre optic cables during road construction and maintainers, saying it is taking steps to address the situation.
