CWG Plc’s bill presentment, aggregation and payment platform, BillsnPay has been adjudged the best Innovative Solution/Product of the Year, at the Beacon of Information and Communications Technology Awards, in Lagos on Saturday at Eko Hotel & Suites.

The organizers of the awards, Communication Week Media, said BillsnPay was recognized as the Best Innovative Solution/Product of the Year as the product has simplified the process of bills presentment alongside payments for Service Providers with the previous challenges of recurrent / one time billing since its unveiling few years ago.

Commenting on this, the Group Head, Brand & Marketing Communications at CWG Plc, Mrs. Anthonia Ehanmo, said the recognition of the product, BillsnPay, as the Best Innovative Solution/Product of the Year, is a testament that the product has really gained acceptance in the market and further adoption was inevitable. CWG Plc is excited about the award won by the BillsnPay product, which is one of the 2.0 products out of the stables of the Group

She further reiterated that it was important to note that the BillsnPay features were second to none and that it was beneficial for merchants to give it a trial. Particularly as setup was free. Rather than incur logistic costs, billers/ merchants can send customers their bills, remind or prompt them of same via SMS and emails. Customers, in turn, can access their bills, make payments, and reconcile them via the same platform using debit/credit cards and other forms of payments. The product does not just promise, but delivers convenience, safety and ease of transactions for both merchants and their customers. This platform offers guaranteed cash flow and ultimately translates into increased revenue for Small & Medium Entrepreneurs who have actively been set up on it.

BillsnPay platform eliminates major transactional challenges for merchants and allows them concentrate on other key functionalities of their businesses. The convergence of the bills presentment and payment one-stop platform is in a class of its own.

The Beacon of ICT Awards, which is in its ninth edition, is reputed as one of the most prestigious award available in the industry today. It has become the largest gathering of policy, decision, regulators and market leaders under one roof.
