    Canon partners Rolof Computer Academy to organize summer BootCamp for students

    A strategic partnership has been sealed between Canon, an optical, imaging and industrial products manufacturer and Warri based Information and Communications Technology training institution, Rolof Computer Academy.

    The partnership, according to a statement by Mr. Lucky Ofuafor, Founder of Rolof Computer Academy will enable Canon Academy, the corporate social responsibility of Canon to train the kids and teens between the age of 7-10 and 11-17 years respectively free in photography during one month Summer BootCamp.
    Starting from August 9, 2021, the students will be able to learn, develop and and spark their creativity in computer skills, photography skills and Artificial Intelligence.
    Specifically, areas to cover include computer skills, computer repair/maintenance, robotics, web design, coding, programming, animation, games, graphics, photography, arts & craft, leadership skills and health & hygiene.
     Mr. Lucky Ofuafor has called on parents and guardians to engage their children this summer holiday so as not to allow them to remain idle at home. He appealed the parents, teachers during a free workshop for pupils/students, teachers and parents in Warri to register their children for summer bootcamp to enabled learn and develop skills in ICT and Photography and sharpen their leadership skills.
    This particular training is one of the series of capacity building programmes Canon will be organizing in Warri in partnership with Rolof Computers as their Authorized Partner in the South-South region of the country.
    Canon will also be carrying out training students in tertiary institutions in Delta State  in partnership with Rolof Computer Academy. Canon is planning to launch Cannon Academy and Canon Junior Academy respectively at Rolof Computer Academy Warri. Canon has also with a short of partnership with Rolof Computer Academy has opened a Service Centre in Warri for the repair of their products making customers who buy their products have peace of mind.
