As the global landscape undergoes rapid technological and socio-political shifts, religious leaders and faith-based organizations are preparing to converge in Lagos for a transformative experience. The Church Relevance and Innovation Summit (CHRIS 2026) is set to take place on Saturday, February 28th and Sunday, March 1st, 2026, at the Global Harvest Church in Mende, Maryland.

The summit, held in strategic collaboration with the Global Harvest Church (Executive Roundtable Network), arrives at a critical juncture for the Body of Christ. It is specifically designed to unite pastors, church administrators, ministry leaders, innovators, and passionate Christians to confront the most pressing challenges and seize the emerging opportunities of the modern era.

David Alozie, the Convener and Founder of Workhen AI, emphasized that the summit is more than just a conference; it is a strategic necessity for the survival and impact of the church in a digital age.

“The summit is designed to bring pastors, church admin, church leaders and ministers, church innovators and passionate Christians into one room to discuss the most urgent challenges and opportunities facing the body of Christ today,” said David Alozie.

He added that the landmark event is aimed at moving Church Leaders, Workers, and Faith-based Organizations from a fixed, reactive position to a position of sovereign preparedness, collective strategy, and resource independence.

The 2026 edition of CHRIS will feature deep-dive panel discussions led by industry experts and spiritual leaders. The agenda covers a broad spectrum of high-impact topics, including Kingdom Dominance, church growth innovation, and the exponential disruption of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Attendees will also explore the nuances of emerging technologies, media and content strategy, church automation, data protection, and the critical need for platform ownership amidst shifting global socio-political climates.

According to the organizers, the ultimate goal is a total mental and operational shift within the faith community.

“The aim is for the church to awaken to the opportunities and possibilities when we leverage our collective assets,” Alozie added.

By fostering a space for high-level dialogue and practical workshops, CHRIS 2026 seeks to equip the church to not only navigate the threats of technology but to master them as tools for global evangelism and administrative excellence.

Registration for the event is currently open. Interested participants, church delegations, and innovators are encouraged to secure their spots by visiting the official registration portal at https://inzion.org/chris.
