Pan-African Information and Communications Technology company, CWG Plc recently organized what it described as ‘Year End Workshop’ for her Finacle customers in Nigeria, as part of its strategic thrust of strengthening partnership with them ahead for 2018.

In a statement issued by Moradeke Akintola, Support Manager, Financial Services Sector at CWG, the largest System Integration Company in Nigeria noted that, most importantly, the essence of the workshop was to share with their esteemed customers some End-of-Year strategies to employ, adding that the workshop affords both CWG and the banks using Finacle the opportunity to rub minds on common challenges and look for potential ways to address them.

“Year end is usually the busiest for banks in Nigeria as it marks the close of the Financial year. As a way of appreciating our customers, we decided to organize a 1-day workshop on Strategic End-of-Year run for all our Finacle customers,” she said.

Akintola disclosed in the statement that the workshop was very insightful as different delegates from Finacle banks were in attendance. She said the brainstorming session was revealing and the feedback was really positive, with the participants urging CWG to organise the event more often.

Some delegates of the following Institutions were in attendance at the event; UBA, Stanbic IBTC, Fidelity, Wema, Heritage, Coronation Microfinance Bank.

The CWG/Finacle partnership has existed for more than two decades, becoming the only company in Nigeria to deploy the FinacleBanking Solution to banks in the country. In line with CWG’s mantra of deploying Technology Solutions that enable Growth, the strategic partnerships the company forges have helped to shape the expressions, expectations and Excellence required of ICT firms  in Africa and indeed the world.
