    Dr. Krish is Data Centre Influencer of the Year 2021-2022

    The Chief Technology Officer of Africa Data Centres, Dr. Krishnan Ranganath has been declared ‘Data Centre Influencer of the Year 2021-2022’ for his role in promoting data centre services across Africa at the Titans of Tech Awards, organized by TechTV Networks in Lagos yesterday.

    Dr. Krish as he is fondly called won the award ahead of three other industry personalities.

    Declaring him the winner of the award, the organizer said Dr. Krish has leveraged his knowledge to promote data services across Africa, especially Nigeria, which has, in turn, boosted the digital economy presently being championed by the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

    “We are happy to announce Dr. Krishnan Ranganath as the ‘Data Centre Influencer of the Year 2021-2022’. Dr. Krishnan is an asset to Africa, especially Nigeria, the organizer announced at the award touted as Nigeria Tech Industry Grammy since 2004.

    Dr. Krishnan Ranganath is a senior executive with more than two decades of experience in global markets working with various Multinationals across Emerging Markets. Worked with various IT/ITES and Telecommunications players for various large and very large projects. Managed large and disparate teams across various regions and time zones.

    Instrumental and a key stakeholder in setting up and managing multiple Networks & data centres across geographies with a proven record of monitoring the inflow & outflow of funds and ensuring optimum utilisation of available funds towards the accomplishment of organizational goals.

    His Core Competencies include strategic planning, project management, business development, relationship management, turnaround management, working capital management, product management, cost reduction strategies, PPP projects, effective interpersonal skills and team management.

    He is presently the Chief Technology Officer at Africa Data Centres handling the West African operations. In his long carrier since 1992, he was associated with various organizations across APAC, GCC & Africa.
